Hong Kong Day 1
We have experienced the saying that Hong Kong ladies are quite fierce. A female airport officer stopped us with a non-polite tone to tell us that we cannot use the counters we were walking towards to. We dont understand why becoz the counters are meant for Hong Kong visitors. The counters were opened halfway through our queue.

Language barrier was experienced also. Firstly was when we asked the Hong Kong tourist counter where can we get Octopus card [HK Ezlink card]in the airport. Next is at CityView hotel reception desk. Another is when shopping in Argyle Center at Mong Kok. Maybe it's due to habit, every salesperson talked to us in Cantonese. Lol. We looked like Hong Kong ppl?? Haha.
Went shopping at Argyle Center, Ladies Street, Fa Yuen Street. Ladies Street feels like Singapore Night Market [pasar malam]. Nothing much to shop. Fa Yuen Street is not bad. Argyle Center is the best man. Haha. Bought a dress at HKD70, a shirt at HKD60 and 2 pairs of socks at HKD 6 each. It may not appear very cheap. But it's considered to be cheap. Hehe.

Tried their roasted goose on that day. It's very delicious. It tasted a bit like roast duck but its meat is not as dry as roast duck. Tried the famous Bo Luo Bao, 波罗包 and the same stall egg tart. They are very delicious. I guess probably that's why HK is famous for food~ Haha.
HK is really full of shops everywhere you go. Even their MTR stations [which is our MRT] have shops. Woah!

Hong Kong Day 2
Went to Ocean Park in the morning. Coz we were too early, we went to search for contact lenses. I tore my right eye contact lense the previous day when taking out and I used monthly, so there's no spare. :( We went to a mall, which I forgotten which. Then we could not find so ask the information counter. We speaked in Chinese, they dont understand. We speaked in English, they understood. So weird. -.- Then the male officer beat around the bush saying Singaporean's English is not as good as theirs. What the?! (Ended up when we reached home, my eldest sis said that the Caucasians said before that Hong Kong ppl and Singaporeans contain an accent when they speak English. Meaning, WE ARE OF THE SAME STANDARD!) It's so daring of him to bad mouth Singaporean's English in front of 3 Singaporeans. Bravo! -.-

The park is located on mountains. So scary. We visited Ying Ying, 盈盈 and Le Le, 乐乐, the two pandas. After touring the bottom of the mountain, we headed to the mountain peak. We rode their Ocean Express train. The train is designed in a way that you can feel the ocean feel. During the ride, there is a video on the ceiling of the train to provide you with a feel that you are underwater. There is a scene whereby they make you feel like you are being sucked by the Octopus. Haha. Yet real, yet fake. Lol.

When reached the mountain peak, I was scared ttm. It's damn high and you can view the big ocean fully. Aww. After taking the view of it, headed to the thrill rides. The escalators there are steep, long and of a rather slow speed.

Firstly we approached the 'Mine Train', a mini version of roller coaster. It seemed very scary becoz there are this 45-degree downward parts. I were so regretful that I couldn't wear contact lenses. Arh!! Furthermore, I felt insecured. The cabin side was quite empty. Only beside the seat is there cover. The safety precautions are only safety belt and a securing rod. I dont know what's the vocab to be used. Lol. I needed to bend down a bit to grab the handle in front. This made it worse coz I wished to sit straight but can't. Arh!! Beside the ride is SEA! Hence, it makes it scary when the train is making a turn. During the first 45-degree downward, I felt like I was flying out. My buttock was lifted from the seat. So horrifying! After it, I felt not like continuing anymore. There was like 2 more of it when I thought there is none left. After the ride, my 3rd sis, who sat beside me said that she feels that I'm flying out anytime. Haha. I felt it myself too!

After this, we took the 'Raging River', which is like Escape Wet & Wild. My siss still thought that the ride will have safety belts or something. But in actual, there is none. Only handle at the side for you to grab. There are workers at certain spots to keep a lookout. Wow! Haha. The slide down was ok. I think Wet & Wild seems to be slightly more scary. We got wet! Haha.
We went around to see other rides. There is this spinning ride but none of us want to ride coz afraid of giddiness. Headed to the thrilling rides. Those rides that are mentioned above are not under the thrill rides zone. Before heading there, we took the Viewing Tower. The viewing tower was expectedly high. It is rather fast also. Great! My torture passed by fast. If you know me, you should know why. Haha.

Proceeded to 'The Abyss'. The ride that drops down from high at a fast speed. I was still deciding whether to try the ride when queuing. Lol. It really took me a lot of courages to try it coz I'm afraid of height! Plus, I don't like the feeling of my buttock lifted from the seats. There is this sample seat nearby the ride with a board stating the description of the ride and the type of ppl who cannot ride it. I sat on the seat coz my legs ached from the walking. The safety precaution is very tight, those that looks a bit like life jacket kind. You know? Haha. I bursted out laughing after the ride. Don't know why myself too. Lol. Felt really pek cek. When it was our turn, the ride worker changed shift. From a female to a male. The male is handsome. However, sadly that my sis and I weren't wearing specs. He walked pasted us after we are ready to set off for the ride. Arh! If I were wearing contacts. :( After the ride, I went back to the queue area to take a better look at him. Hehe. Coz my sis said we weren't wearing specs, so he can appear to be handsome due to the blurred vision. I went back to check out. He is handsome! Haha. (During the trip, every day I get to see at least 1 or 2 handsomes but not in SG. :P) I would regret if I didnt take 'The Abyss'. :D

I was tempted to ride 'The Dragon', the larger version of roller coaster. But I was then still living in the shadow of 'Mine Train', so didn't ride it. :( My 3rd sis didnt take 'The Abyss'. She felt like riding after I and my 2nd sis said that it isn't really very scary. She wanted to ride 'Pirate Boat' but it was not open. She wanted Ferry Wheel also but 2nd sis and I don't want to. She gave up the thought after noticing that the Ferry Wheel cabin is those hemisphere kind.

Headed to the foot of the mountain via CABLE CAR! My body stayed the same position throughout the ride. Since young, I dare not to take cable car. Worst still is that this cable car is to pass through the steep mountain! Higher than the Sentosa one! EEE! I felt sorry for my 3rd sis. She hasnt been riding cable car for long and she was scared too. She had to take the Snow cone, 飞雪冰 we bought earlier during the cable car ride coz I don't dare. Some more, becoz the seats are one by one kind, she sat on the seat whereby behind her the windows are open, only metal bars. Thus, the feeling was worse. Talking abt drinks, we shared a cup of Mango Orange Freeze. It's very nice. Unluckily, when my 3rd sis passed to me, the drink dropped due to different frequency between her and me. There went the cup of Mango Orange Freeze. Wasted...

Played the basketball machine at HKD 20 bucks per play and per play is 40 sec long. There was this Monkey soft toy I wanted to give someone as a gift there. But it's a big prize. Needs a lot of tickets. 1 shot in 3 points, 15 points for 1 tickets. Can you imagine? I would be spending like at least HKD 100 at least to get that because per play will be only able to get 2 or 3 tickets. Very expensive. My sis played and know why. The ball ain't those lighter ones like what SG arcades have. They are heavier, more like a real solid basketball. That's why. I played to get 1 more tickets for the small prize, a Red Panda keychain. Also, to see how much I can score. I scored 42! 1 more ball in and I broke the 'record' and get 3 tickets. There was a Caucasian who played a few times, trying to get the bigger prize. For every play, she got 2 tickets only also. Wondered how much she spent because we left before her.

Headed back to hotel to wash out before heading to Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui, 尖沙咀.

To be continued.
